Groundbreaking Goal: Fall 2024!
With the land generously donated and the permitting process in full swing, the vision of our brand-new location is alive and clear!
Future Site of Kuna Food Bank
Building Space for Growth
In December of 2022, Kuna Food Bank founder Ted Wimer generously donated 1.5 acres to the food bank on the condition that a new food bank be constructed.
The new building affords greater space and food storage to meet the growing needs of our community.
As Kuna grows, so does its need for an independent food bank building. And when there is a space for nourishment, our ability to impact the community greatly increases.
The New Building
Meeting More Needs Under One Roof
With 3,300 square feet of food storage, a walk-in cooler, and a freezer, the Kuna Food Bank building will efficiently store, sort, and process food orders. There will also be spaces for educational classes, counseling services, and a life-skills kitchen for cooking and food preservation classes. The Kuna Food Bank will be able to offer a wide variety of needed resources that truly make a difference.

This important project will undoubtedly require the collective efforts of each and every one of us. If your circumstances permit, we kindly ask you to consider making a contribution. Your support will have a lasting impact on your neighbors in need.
As a 100% volunteer-run organization, the food bank is asking for the community’s partnership in making this new building possible.
We greatly appreciate all donations. You may make a one-time donation or set up a recurring donation.
